You've decided to look at used cars, which consist of models previously driven by one or more owners.     If you are shopping for a used car and how it compares to CPO, consider the following:

    • A used vehicle is cheaper than a CPO option because it does not require an inspection. At our dealership, we inspect all our offerings for quality and safety. But if you go to a private party, be sure to have a mechanic that you trust look over your potential purchase to let you know of any issues.
    • We encourage you to look over and test-drive any of our used cars that interest you. You should demand the same privileges from a private seller. If you discover any issues, talk it over with the seller (including us) to ensure that the vehicle meets your needs for function and safety. You will need to make any required repairs as part of any auto budget.
    • Please don't shy away from a model because it is older or has miles on it. Some modern vehicles can last over 200,000 miles with regular maintenance.

      Certified Pre-Owned (CPO)

      CPO models cost more than used because they offer peace of mind with requirements and benefits that vary slightly by manufacturer.

      For example, a Chevrolet CPO car must be less than 6 years old and have no more than 75,000 miles. It must also have a clean title and pass a CARFAX Vehicle History Report that shows the number of owners, whether it has been in an accident, and its service history.

      • Such vehicles get a 12-month or 12,000-mile Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty and a 6-year or 100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. Both warranties have no deductibles.
      • Buying a CPO Chevy grants you two free scheduled maintenance visits within 2 years of 24,000 miles of vehicle delivery.
      • If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can bring the vehicle back within the first 3 days or 150 miles and exchange it for a Chevrolet, Buick, or GMC that you prefer.
      • You receive a free trial lasting three months for OnStar Safety and Security and Connected Services as well as SiriusXM® satellite radio.
